The KBSP.X began as an idea created by 2 employees, Aric Cheston and Matt Powell, and was featured in a NY Times article.  The idea was a way to create company managed funds that offered employees a share of the overall fund.

I took their seed idea and architected and developed the complete web application using WordPress as a base.  All stock data is collected daily using Yahoo Pipes and stored as custom data.  The system allows employees across kbs+p (and a few select sister agencies) to login via their corporate email or while on private networks or VPNs to see their current index return.

The application lived through mulitple phases, the most recent I completed as a freelancer because of my love of the idea.
